It may have been offered in the MLS, but omitted from the contract as a tradeoff for other concessions made. If it is not in your contract, you are not entitled.
As a seller, I plan to offer a warranty, but consider it negotiable if you make a low offer. My offer to include the washer may change if you give me a low offer. Check your contract. - Tue Jan 22 2008, 08:31
"It is clear the Ummels did not rush into a decision: They dismissed one agent and canceled deals on two houses before Mr. Little found them a prospect on a cul-de-sac in a five-year-old luxury development. A deal was struck with the owner, herself a real estate agent, for $1.2 million."
If Mr. and Mrs. Little were involved enough to cancel 2 deals and dismiss an agent, they were involved enough to be accoutable. I have no sympathy for a couple buying a property over a million dollars. They knew what they were doing and are looking for a scapegoat for their own decisions.
Run from any agent who will not provide a CMA for you, and find one who will. No realtor will make me sell or buy for a price without my own due diligence. - Tue Jan 22 2008, 08:15
Brick. You can get a lot more for your money. It is safe and lively without congestion. We moved here from Bergen County 3 years ago and wish we would have done it sooner. - Tue Jan 22 2008, 08:13
