Thanks...For the replies. I will definitely keep my eye out for these defects when I visit this place soon. My friend recommended I take a look at this place since it is with the price range at which i am looking for: 250-350. I saw some pictures of places for sale on internet and it looks ok.

Thank you for your responses. I will definitely get in touch with you when I get I get closer to making my visit to Chicago to look for a suitable place. DO you know if there are any buildings in the vicintiy that may be coming up that might impede on the views from the building----thereby decreasing the price?

I am really confused about whether to buy or rent in this building? I plan on living here at least three years but the prospects of having trouble selling or renting in the future especially with this market has really made me think twice about buying. Hey I am also seriously considering buying/renting a condo in 512 Mcclurg. Where do most of the residents park? I might be incorrect but I heard there is no parking.

Also I will be commuting to University of chicago for my job any idea if there is a nearby train to get me there. If so how long would take on average drive vs train (if available).

Is there a discount for owners at the the holmes gym as well in case a membership is wanted. - Thu May 29 2008, 08:23
