Thanks Scott, we did use a realtor, and there was a home inspection done. Which we passed with flying colors. And there are no building codes in rural Montana, we checked in to it when we were finishing our basement. The only inspections needed were for plumbing and electrical. Which the electrical was done when the house was first built because the job was done by an electrician, and we had a plumber do all the work in the basement, so the plumbing inspector came for that. Other than that, there are no codes. - Wed Oct 1 2008, 10:52
