Where in Greater Boston should I buy?

Mike answered:
http://www.bostoncityproperties.com/sign_up.html has access to search all Boston & Cambridge condos for free.

Around $400,000... I would look in Winthrop.... its right next to East Boston, and is a beautiful sea-side community.... nice beaches, public transportation, great schools... definitely a nice town, and its a hop skip & a jump away from downtown Boston. - Fri Jul 11 2008, 23:53

There is access to free Boston MLS on http://www.bostoncityproperties.com/sign_up.html .... also -- are you familiar with the various neighborhoods in and around Boston? There are definitely some great areas to invest right now.... in fact, last year some neighborhoods appreciated over 20%, such as Charlestown --- also, in 2007 condos over $1,000,000 in Downtown Boston went up approx 8%.... even the luxury market is booming..... as far as foreclosures go, there aren't too many in Downtown Boston... and are mainly concentrated in lower income areas outside the Downtown core. - Tue Jun 24 2008, 00:59

Waterfront/ North End

Mike answered:
Check out http://www.bostoncityproperties.com/sign_up.html ... there is a free boston condo search. As far as price per square foot goes... it really varies.... somewhere between approx. $500-$800/s.f. - Tue Jun 24 2008, 00:54
