The only thing about purchasing another home is, we are military and are moving in a year. After that year, we're moving yet AGAIN and supposed to have 2 yr assignments after that. We still have our Vegas house that we own and frankly, until we SELL that one won't be able to buy another.
** Also in regards to Bruce, we didn't WANT to back out... we had no choice, plus Pulte couldn't finance us anyway because we didn't sell the house in LV.** - Mon Aug 27 2007, 08:48
I found my agent on New Homes Advisory on the internet. His name is Kraig Schneider. He should get his license revoked!! In no way did he represent us AT ALL! Most of everything was said/done between the Pulte Sales lady and I... long distance at that. He assured me it was all based on the sale of our house... otherwise I woudln't have given so much money up front anyway. We had good intentions througout the whole deal, had no idea we wouldn't be able to sell our LV home, the market had JUST started going down hill THAT SUMMER! We were basically burned at both ends... our home not selling, Pulte keeping our earnest money... and we borrowed that money out of our equity from our LV home... which we are CURRENTLY paying interest to every single month. So we are still paying... more than $9400. I just want that money back to put back into that acct. I just want what's fair. Pulte sold that house to another family the very next month we were supposed to close.... they didn't lose out!!! Why keep our $$?? - Sat Aug 25 2007, 18:12
It was all supposed to be based on the sale of our home in Las Vegas. Even in the paperwork I have from Pulte Finance states that the funds from the sale of the first home will be used to purchase the Pulte home. They couldn't fund us, it's not our fault we couldn't sell our other home to buy the new one. Our intentions were good until the very end. We tried so hard, lowered our price at least once or twice a month. Our agent was probably the lowest of all scum we could've chosed. He was pretty much the first person who popped up on the internet. He didn't do a darn thing about anything! This all happened in 2006 (final cancellation was in early Sept). - Sat Aug 25 2007, 00:38
