We're looking at buying a house in either the Talbot Park or Maplewood area. Any opinions?

We currently live in the Maplewood neighborhood. There are many older homes with lots of character, but some of the smaller ones are being replaced with beautifully designed new homes. This is perhaps the "transition" we are seeing here. It is a very walkable area, and we walk downtown from here often. The home values here are a great investment, but what makes it really nice are the neighbors and quiet. - Wed Jul 2 2008, 09:36
