Re comps, should one compare price per square foot?

Trulia Jeff answered:
Tracy... I'm just curious to know how things turned out? - Wed Sep 10 2008, 12:47

I grew up in Columbia, and went to Clemens Crossing Elementary School, which is in the Clemens Crossing "sub-village" within the Hickory Ridge neighborhood. I then attended Wilde Lake Middle and Atholton High. I've got only positive things to say about Clemens.

Certain schools in the county have worse reputations than others. For instance, at the high school level, River Hill and Mt. Hebron are considered premium, while Oakland Mills and Long Reach draw a bit of scorn. But the truth is, there's not much difference between any of the high schools in Howard County. Each school's student populations feature desirables and undesirables.

That said, you can't go wrong with Hickory Ridge. Check out the River Hill development as well. - Tue Apr 15 2008, 15:11

What is the best school district in Howard County Maryland?

Trulia Jeff answered:
Hi Jeff,
I went to school in Howard County from 3rd-12th grade and was then accepted into Stanford. I attended Clemens Crossing Elementary, Wilde Lake Middle, and Atholton High, which are all Howard County public schools. As a whole, Howard County schools are excellent, and just as importantly, are regarded as excellent by colleges. But I may be able to help more if you have a more specific question? - Sun Jul 1 2007, 20:24
Trulia Jeff answered:
The 24-hour fitness has to be the first option that you evaluate due to its multiple locations, including one in Potrero Hill in the Potrero center. The lap pool is pretty small- 3 lanes, and short- but the pool is typically pretty empty so it's not too bad. I've also got friends who use Bay Club, and prefer its swimming facilities. - Tue May 22 2007, 11:48

Are property values in San Francisco affected by microclimates?

Trulia Jeff answered:
Absolutely. Weather on the ocean side of the city is foggy and cold compared to everywhere else. - Thu May 3 2007, 12:11
