I have been so Leary letting anyone pull credit reports soft or hard hits. I have noted everyone is doing it now Time Warner, AT&T and utility companies too. I almost shopped for lower insurance rates on auto/home but they wanted to run a credit check. Zack, how many soft hits does it take to start lowering a credit score?
I’ve been wondering what is holding up home prices in Kansas City too. I understand we didn’t get the extreme price jumps seen on the coast. But we did get close to a doubling in values in the past twelve years or so.
I have been reading the Platte county citizen and the excelsior springs paper for many years now and have never seen so many foreclosures. One thing for sure the papers are being supported well with ad revenue since more than half of either paper is being used for foreclosure listings. If you’re interested on August 25th about five hundred properties will be sold at a tax auction in Liberty, Mo.
Ann,
I believe you will see home prices fall unfortunately my homes will drop in value too. - Thu Aug 21 2008, 20:37
I understand your frustration with dealing with the seller’s agent. But you did ask for it. I would recommend you seek a different buyer’s agent one you would trust enough to include next time.
I know the seller that represents WAMU in your area. I would not deal with them with out solid representation. For that matter I wouldn’t deal with my best friend in a real-estate transaction with out good representation.
PS-
You did the right thing in stopping your dealings with the sellers agent, it does sound like they were playing games and getting ready to stick it too you. - Thu Aug 21 2008, 20:16
