Peggy, the link I posted below, didn't work when I tried it. It takes you the to the MLS home page. Put in Oak View in the street address box and hit the search button. Then you will get the listing sheet. Sorry about that. - Fri Sep 26 2008, 07:13
This is the link to the listing sheet

I've looked at the county gis and there is noting recorded that belongs to anyone other than individual owners. Nothing in a bank name. It may be in between the lawyers the courts and the bank. Can you tell me where you found the foreclosure information? This may help me find out when it will hit the market. You may still have time to make an offer at the courthouse. - Fri Sep 26 2008, 07:11

Phil,
I've not personally sold anything in that subdivision, but I spent the last few months all over the Jamestown/Grandover area. My customers love the area because of the close proximity to HP, GSO and W-S. But they are also "out of town". There is lots of interest in that area also because of the schools.

Trialwood is still a Greensboro address, but the proximity to Jamestown gives you Ragsdale HS.
Let me know if you want any more info.

Daniel is right. Just make sure that your client knows it's a Brokers Price "OPINION". Not an appraisal. That is where you get into trouble. Enjoy the easy money. - Wed Aug 6 2008, 06:32

go with the sites Larry gave. I also work the Guilford County area and that is the same site I use. I think I can say this without getting into trouble with the HUD people, the Jamestown/Ragsdale area is very popular for people for homes with kids.

Larry, are you getting other popular request? - Thu Jun 26 2008, 13:20
Mark Vuncannon answered:
with that many kids, I recommend you move near a day care. maybe even a church, your going to need lots of prayer.

On a serious note, look at the Guilford County School site to see who has the best scores. That school will be on the wish list for a lot of buyers in your situation. Then look at the number 2 and 3. These schools should be excellent, but you will not have to pay a premium of a home in a desired area.

Having no kids, I make no recommendation on a school. All the schools in Guilford County are under the same system, so it will not matter if they are inside or outside the city limits. Guilford County is growing so you will not have any trouble finding a good school in a good area that is close to everything you need.

Like the rest of the agents that have answered, call or email me if you need any more help.
