A. Keith Hebert answered:
Your realtor will use a standard TREC or TAR contract. Most bank sales are sold "as is", that means no repair allowances. You should seek out the best realtor for the job in your area or you may end up with cost overruns. Your realtor friend may want to co-brokers with an experienced agent. - Mon Apr 7 2008, 06:56

Connie, Lots of good answers here. Since your home has been on the market for awhile you may want to re-evaulate the price/condition. Take the home off the market for a couple of weeks, refresh and reprice. - Sat Mar 29 2008, 12:55
A. Keith Hebert answered:
Your best option would be to contact a mortgage broker or banker an obtain a pre-approval letter for the amount you will finance. Then contact a realtor to represent you in this transaction. Please visit my website for additional information concerning buying a home. - Sat Mar 29 2008, 11:20
A. Keith Hebert answered:
You risk spending a lot of money and time with clients who are not willing to commit to a buyer rep agreement. As Jeff stated, the client can sign the agreement daily. If you explain how agency works in Texas I would think you could bet 100% of those agreements signed. - Fri Mar 28 2008, 09:28

can someone rate D.R.HORTON America's Builder homes

A. Keith Hebert answered:
I can only express what the other agents below have stated. My clients that have purchased from that builder do seem satisfied. Excellent answer Cassandra. - Fri Mar 28 2008, 09:14
