Chuck --thanks for your answer. Trulia "stats and trends" says that average cost per square foot in Barrington was $287 for May-July of 2008. Is new construction really that much higher than the average? $300 I could see, but $350+ sounds exorbitantly high, esp. in this market. - Thu Sep 4 2008, 12:32
