Are the Modern Ice townhomes in San Jose in a good neighborhood?

I would not buy any Modern Ice townhome. Parking is horrible, there aren't enough guest parking. The townhomes are made inter-locking which means sounds from neighbors are easily heard since you're below or on top of them. Check out the display homes. Go into a one home and another person go into the next. You can hear the person walking up and down. An article from the Mercury showed that the city of San Jose might cut prices of new townhomes below market value to attract new homebuys, Modern Ice was on the front page of the article. The neighbor isn't the greatest and load thumping cars can be heard thru out the night. Even though the price might seem like a great deal, it does not seem like to have a good resale value. - Tue Jun 24 2008, 14:36
