A tenant's perspective: When we moved to Sacramento in mid-2005, we decided to rent (we could afford to buy; have very good credit with FICO's >800). We went by Homepointe and had a very awful experience. They would only show certain properties on certain days and the receptionist in particular was unpleasant. We called Sac Delta and they showed us a house that day, and we signed the lease the next day. Lived there two years, and had absolutely no problems. They were always nice, never lost a check, etc. One thing I will say about Sac Delta, though, was I thought they underpriced the rent. Comps in the neighborhood seemed to be renting for about $200/month more than they charged us, but maybe the landlord didn't care. - Fri May 16 2008, 19:57
