I hate to say it, but I'm a bit suspicious when a bunch of realtors say buy buy buy!!!! Are there any agents or home buyers out there with another opinion? I looked at the loft market as well, and the increase in inventory made me reconsider. - Thu Oct 4 2007, 17:58
Maps are hugely important to me... I know the area that I'm interested in , and it's important to see if a home is on the "right" side of the street. Trulia isn't perfect...but I like their google maps, and the "save homes" stuff. Most realtor sites are frustrating to use and I despise that they are always trying to turn me into a lead. - Thu Jun 28 2007, 18:18
I think you should go the route that Daniel suggests - find a lawyer or Realtor that is willing to represent both sides, and negotiate hard on the commission. You've done a lot of the heavy lifting, but you might be missing something in the deal that would cost you in the long run. - Fri May 4 2007, 17:09
The Metro Green & Blue Lines gave some people hope that they could live sans car in parts of LA County. Frankly, if you don't live and work within a few blocks of a stop, it's not a viable alternative to a car, at all. Sadly, I don't think LA living will ever be doable without wheels of your own. - Fri May 4 2007, 17:02
It's SUPER easy to make that commute--my sister happily did it for 2 years. You just need to jump on the Metro on the blue/orange line. Check out the metro map below. - Fri May 4 2007, 16:04
