I have a house WITH a FINISHED basement with full living including new kitchen, 2 baths bedrooms, living area private drive and entrance. It has a new inground pool. It is on a cul da sac in a nice quiet area 1 minute from West Point Lake wehre there is picnicing, boat ramps, a frequent walking place for many and t heir dogs. Upstairs is full living. House construction I can promise is better than any house you would find. It is steel-construction like commercial. Now the house is more than the price you mentioned; however this is the PERFECT house for someone to live upstairs on main level (full living) and rent the basement. There is a college here and many students rent off campus. I have talked with someone in reference to this and even though I have no way of verifying this but only comparison-it could easily bring in $1200 month rent money. The house is bricik, new pool which has a system that needs vertually no maintenance -a frog system. Everything is like a new house, absolutely nothing to paint, fix. We had an engineer to thoroughly inspect before we bought and I could provide this report. It is better than a new one. The ONLY reason for selling, my parents live downstairs and the 4 of us left South Carolina and all of us miss our 30 years in Columbia, our friends and our churches. My parents are 90 and 94 and I hate for them to miss their friends in their later years. IF you will email me, I will send you pictures and you WILL love the house. I don,t see a date when you posted this but 9/19/2008- I have just what you want (and more) in LaGrange. Now the price is much more BUT our basement is full living in the basement, kitchen, bedrooms, living, 2 baths, laundry room, private drive and private entrance, new inground pool, all brick, house construction is commercial (steel beams, etc) There is a college here and anyone not needing the basement could rent it -really nice, clean as need, very attractive,cul da sac and wonderful location email mfergu3@aol.com - Thu Sep 18 2008, 21:56
