Check out north Seattle neighborhoods like Wedgewood, Bryant, View Ridge & Maple Leaf. All are within the city limits, very walkable neighborhoods, easy access to downtown and the eastside & access to Burke Gilman Trail. Great shopping (University Village & Northgate, which is going thru a major transformation) & medical access UW Medicine & Childrens Hospital. Also close to the city's 2nd largest park - Magnuson Park which has water access, outdoor ampitheater, lots of free weekend activities. We live in View Ridge and am grateful we bought when we did. No regrets at all - love our neighborhood, love the neighbors, and love the short, easy commute to work! - Tue Oct 2 2007, 09:35
