I live in 77042 and do most of my work in this area. It is a matter of lifestyle really. Do you want a 35 plus year old home that may or may not have been kept up with but is closer in to town or do you want a new delux neighborhood with all the bells and whistles? I would say there won't be much appreciation difference in 5-7 years with either area b ut you are generally safer the closer in you get to town. Briar Grove Park has been very staedy over the years.
