The city of East Orange is trying to revitalize and bring in more home buyers and renters from the middle class. You may already know that in years past, the city has had many problems but I firmly believe that things are going to change. They are making an effort to bring in new residential developments in town such as Empire View Condos and several other new developments. This is fostering a new middle class moving in. The city also has a midtown direct train to NYC for those who work there. Theyre also rebuilding the town shopping plaza and adding in a new arts center and a new high school. This town is not yet completely middle class but there are lots of new people moving in there every day that is starting to change the dynamics of the town. I think that if you were browsing listings online, it might be worth the trip to go and check out some of the new developments.
