We are relocating to the EL Dorado Hills area April 1 and are debating whether we should rent a house or buy

Hi Sue,
I would consider renting with a 6 month lease or on a month to month basis. Then you will have an opportunity to learn about the different neighborhoods in El Dorado Hills and surrounding communitites. I do think it is a buyers market and their are opportunities to be found, but it is best to learn a bit before you jump in.

There will be a Home Buyers Event on April 5 at the Holiday Inn Express hosted by some local specialist. We will be sharing the "state of the market", and going through the home buying process. If you are intersted, stop in - it's free. Do try and register if you would like to attend as we are trying to get a count.
