true hardship is not an issue. and I am very aware of the short sale process and how to get one approved.. what i need to know is what happens to the 2nd? can you declare chpt 7 and get rid of it? and any possible deficiency liens if you truly show little or no income and qualify for 7.. thanks - Fri Aug 1 2008, 06:58

FYI.. spoke to lender.. they can postpone the sale date only up to and not before 48hrs of the sale date.. up to 45-60 days.. and they have my packet and feel strongly e can get the short sale approved... nice.. - Fri Jul 25 2008, 13:00
thanks for the replies but I am the home owner, and we do have a solid offer into the bank, they are just saying the sale date may come before they can assign the short sale offer and postpone the sale date until they can review it. My question was can the short sale still be approved or at least postpone the confirmation hearing after the sale. the lender is saying it is possible... have any of you have a short sale work out after the sale date but before confirmation hearing.. thanks all - Fri Jul 25 2008, 12:23
