I wanted to add to my original question. Our home located in the Ridge and Lookout canyon has been reduced in price to the point we really have no wiggle room. The neighborhood continues to have new homes built. We have offered incentives in the past to no avail. We changed realtors' as we felt we needed a new perspective and a more aggressive approach and have been happy with the current one so far. Now we are at the point that we just don't want to give our home away or go to the table having to bring cash to the table. We are just regular working class people my husband in the Army and me a RN so we can't afford to do that. We worry that the market in San Antonio is not only saturated with homes on the sale market but also on the rental market as homes left unsold turn to other alternatives. We would move back in a heart beat our only real dilemma is family separation for and undetermined amount of time or up to 3 years till my hubby retires. Everyone keeps telling me the market in SA is still good but I see many homes in my homes price mark 230's in the same are that remain on the market....and why can't I sell my home? - Mon Jun 30 2008, 06:55
