Rdm Seller's Questions (1)
Thanks Tom for your answer. I have lowered the price to the point where I cut even, still no interested people. The homes in my neighborhood are equal or greater in price than mine. I have relocated due to a change of job, the home is vacant and it is below the county assessed value, and 25% below the price pick it reached some years ago. I doesn't really matter if I loose the house, I am just watching for my credit score. - Thu Jul 31 2008, 06:50
Thanks L.M. for your reply. It certainly doesn't make any sense that they are still building when there are no buyers. In my subdivission there are 10 newer homes for sale with no luck (some since 2007) and builders are right now constructing 6 homes more and priced higher than us in an established neighborhood. The only reason I could think of for them to do so, is that they got a loan approved a while ago and do not want to let go, do you think that might be the reason? - Wed Jul 23 2008, 15:43
I was expecting some kind of an answer by now, may be my question wasn't that clear. Many homes, inclusive in my subdivision have been unbuilt for sale for about a year, with no interested buyers a month ago they begun construction of many of those , and also in neighboring subdivissions. My question is, Is it expected that people will start buying this summer or is it their last atempt at building/selling something before jingle mail? - Mon Jun 23 2008, 16:20
I really have a question here regarding what Tom says "...Have your realtor relist your house to get a new ML number so it shows up as a new listing to buyers. ...". My house has been listed for over a month and no interested buyers (pricing below zillow if you think it is overpriced). I asked the realtor if it could get a new MLS number for renewing interest and the reply was that the MLS system (at least in Central Oregon) requires that the property is off the market for a minimum of 90 days. Is that correct? If not, why wouldn't renewing the MLS number be an option? - Wed Jul 23 2008, 15:36
