I know that you said you did not want to purchase a house in morgantown but you will pay just as much to rent with the hassle of a lease etc as opposed to having freedom and a possible investment opportunity. I have a 3bdrm house with 5 1/2 city lots in morgantown. I am actually 5 minutes from downtown. This is a great neighborhood for children and pets. In any event my guess would be with interest rates the way they are right now, you could purchase a home (just for now if you wanted) as opposed to throwing your money away. Because this is a "college town" you will be paying a lot more in rent than you would think. My home is priced below the last appraisal as I am ready to move immediately. In any event, just something to consider - whether buying from me or anyone. Good Luck!!! - Sun Feb 17 2008, 14:55
