thanks for the advice...we really have no idea why our home hasn't sold. We are in a desirable neighborhood, and our house is fully furnished and decorated with neutral and appealing colors. We think our agent may not be working as hard as he should . He is a friend of the family. We think he overpriced our house to begin with and that hurt us. We have dropped teh price a few times since. One house in our neighborhood has already been on the market and sold in less time than ours and it was nothing compared to ours in size, decor, character etc. (It was obviousley priced correctly) I think we need to change agents, we want someone that knows we are not just hanging in there to see what happens, and we need to sell before we do end up having to "throw in the towel", (which we do not want to do). Anyone have suggestions of a hard working, efficent agent on the South Shore?
Renting our house would be a nice option but no one is going to want to rent it for our mortgage price it would be over $4,000 per month. Any more advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! - Tue Jul 15 2008, 05:57
