Hi Meg--my house sat for several months, too. Realtors all said it showed well, but I didn't get offers. I had the house staged for $1200 and I had a signed contract for full asking price within 4 days! What a difference the staging made. Realtors know how to evaluate a house objectively, but homebuyers don't. Skip the bonus. Get a stager. It works. (BTW, I'm not a stager!) - Sat Mar 8 2008, 16:45
