I am trying to sell my house through a relocation company who requested 2 appraisals. The first appraisal stated 1634 square feet, the second stated 1392 square feet and considered the lowerest room of my home basement even though it is on ground level and the assessor considers it "finished area" not basement. Upon receiving this information last Friday I looked at the assessor's data where it is stated 1528 square feet.
After 3 years is it too long to do anything about this? Also I have the house listed stating 2056 square feet. Would I now be placing myself at risk?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. - Sun Jan 6 2008, 17:47
My house is located in Indiana. Do you know what the statute of limitations is for Indiana? Also on the MLS it stated "Per Seller."
