Thanks, Janine. I will be more direct. A collegue at work suggested I get a second agent to focus on the rental? I had some additional questions: What is a reasonable time period "exclusive right to sell" contract? How are the fees handled if the house is neither rented nor sold at the specified time period under the right to sell? Thanks! - Tue Apr 8 2008, 22:50
Thanks for your help. We had 13 people show. Is that good? I do have a realtor. They are a very nice husband and wife team. They are so busy now though that I feel that I have to help them out if I can. I hope I am helping and not hurting their efforts. It's just that I want to know if the house will be sold or rented so that I can plan accordingly. We will have another Open House next weekend as well. - Sun Mar 30 2008, 20:18
Does the medical center have it's own real estate periodical in which I could advertise? Thanks. - Sat Mar 29 2008, 23:21
Hi Paula,
I wanted to invite you to my open house today from 2-4 pm on 9211 Riddlewood Lane in the Medical Center. I can tell you that you do not want to deal with traffic when coming home from a 30 hour shift (like you may in some of the outside the loop communities) and so the medical center area is an ideal place to be. Hope you can make it! - Sat Mar 29 2008, 23:16
Hi Paula,
Have I got a place for you. I don't know if you have children, but I have a spacious 4 bedroom in the medical center area (inner loop, Woodside community) with 2800+ sq feet (not including the screened/covered patio), 2.5 baths, and 11 closets. It's just above $400K. 9211 Riddlewood Lane. Zip is 77025. It's under a 10 minute drive (save on gas). to the Med Center. Personally I think that for the space, safety, land, convenience-- the price is unbeatable. Hope you check it out when you come to Houston if it's still available. Good luck next July.

P.S. it's also up for rent if you'd like.... - Fri Mar 28 2008, 01:19
Totally agree with Best Answer that it depends on your lifestyle/habits. My 2800+ sq foot home on 9211 Riddlewood Lane in Houston has a very low electric bill (even less than $100 bill at times!) when I don't have houseguests....I think it's well insulated because it's a brick, single story home with a great deal of shrubs/flowering trees/landscaping.... my neighbor has a very similar home and tells me that her bills are triple mine though.... - Fri Mar 28 2008, 01:26
