I found a renter on my own for my house. I have a listing agent. Does he have to be involved in this?

How long have you had this agent? You sound like you have reasonable grounds to cancel. I definately wouldn't pay the agent a penny. That's the cost of doing business and your agent benefited by the advertising by getting his name out there. I hate agents who feel their work is brain surgery and are entitled to trumped up costs! - Sun Oct 5 2008, 12:38
