Decatur is wonderful and very safe and kid friendly. Teenagers love to hang out at the Taco Mac, or in the square which has live concerts in the summer, outdoor movies and lots of safe and fun activities. Traffic is pretty standard in a big city. I've lived in Decatur for 7 years and will put my 5 mile commute to Emory against anyone elses...gas prices considered, I think you would very much enjoy living in Decatur. - Thu May 15 2008, 09:40
