Thanks for all the answers to my questions. Some of you wondering why I'm asking all kinds of questions in this forum, and it's valid questions to ask. But one thing is that this is a very good site to share experience and advice.
I'm looking to sell my home in New york and needed to move to CA. However, I don't really have any referrals to get a good agent, that's why I'm doing the research my own. I didn't have a good experience selling my previous home with another agent and so this time, I'm paying more attention to the details. Everyone in this forum knows how important to do the research right, before signing any contract and thanks again to those willing to share their thoughts so I can better make a selection to get the best agent I can find. What I'm looking to hire is an honest and reliable agent to sell my home. I want to find someone who I trust and someone who I can work with. I need someone who tells me upfront of all that he will or will not do so to avoid later conflicts. Someone who follows my questions may know that I'm trying to see build a profile of what a good agent look like. So that I can set my expectation right. In the end, I will be responsible for what I did not do later, and who will say sorry is only one person - me.
Thanks again for the really good good advice. You know you will be succesful in what you do. - Mon Oct 15 2007, 08:50
How about Hopewell Junction, NY? It's about 90 mins by train to the City. Lots of people I know live there and raise family. Big house and lot and people friendly. Suburb feeling. - Tue Oct 2 2007, 08:13
