Actually it helps Larry, its good to get feedback, and if anything it arms me with what questions I need to get definitive answers on from my Mortgage broker and Realtor. - Thu Sep 4 2008, 23:10
i don't need down payment assistance, i can put the minimum 3.5 % down for a FHA, i just want them to cover the closing costs, which they agreed to cover 6%. Do i have to close before october 1st for this to happen? - Tue Sep 2 2008, 20:24
so the house is 309,000 and i want to offer 270,000 plus i will want closing costs. I have been watching homes in the area like this one that are detach and town home drop 10% at a time when no one bids on them. SOme of the same homes in the area like this one are still sitting on the market after more than six months, of watching them, some are lowering prices some aren't but either way none of them are selling. - Sun Aug 3 2008, 16:49
the asking price is 400,000 which has been lowered from 474,000 over time. But it still hasn't moved. I want to offer 300,000 , i have excellent credit, and would be in a good position at that offer, but it is drastically lower and pretty unreasonable when considering what the bank wants. The house just isn't even close to what other houses in that price range have, but it does have an acre of land. - Tue May 6 2008, 15:52
