Some of these are pretty nice actually. The HOA dues are VERY reasonable as well at $206 a month, last I was quoted. Flour Bluff is always going to be the nicer side if you can't get on the island proper. - Wed Aug 20 2008, 15:55

Why so many Villa Del Sol & Surfside condos for sale? Whats the deal with these?

Villa del Sol is also a DUMP---it USED to be quite nice of a property, but its on the north beach (which is very UNDESIRABLE), a lot of 'transitory people' and industrial-type stuff. The beach is poor quality as well---you really want to look at the Flour Bluff area or south side of mustang island... I wouldn't stay at VDS let alone buy property there. - Mon Jul 21 2008, 16:59
