Is Loxahatchee a good area for a real estate purchase right now? Will it see appreciation or loss?

I live in Loxahatchee and love it! I am a teacher and my kids love the schools. If you are planning a re-location it IS a good time...all of the homes are much more reasonably priced now and you still get the great rural community and atmosphere. My husband has been transferred or we would be staying. If you are interested in checking out my house I NEED to sell because my hubby has to leave April 1st leaving the boys and I to finish out the school year. We want 400K to pay off the debt and the realtor--We have 1.5 acres, a 3400 SF house w/ 4BR/3B upgraded with granite, wood and tile flooring throughout, stainless appliances- 12 foot ceilings-3way split. Out building, 36x16' heated pool-wooded lots all around and a private road with no through traffic or HOA! I can hear the lions roar in the morning if out for a walk because we are so close to Wellington and Lion Country Safari. Check it out at Realtor.com MLS#R2881327. Oh-did I mention that it is very private but no HOMEOWNER ASSOC.-so close to Lion Country Safari that I can hear the LIONS ROAR if I'm out walking in the early morn? AND the lots around us are wooded so it really is an idealic setting...pretty lanscaping,too. :O) Equestrians all around and close to Wellington and the POLO fields. - Wed Feb 20 2008, 11:52

If you want a house with acreage and great schools in the 33470 zip code-LOOK AT MINE! My husband has been transferred to OH and we thought we'd be here for the long haul. I'm a teacher here and my boys love the schools as do I. Built in '03, it has 3400 sf 4BR/3Baths, 1.5 acres-all the upgrades like all wood flooring and tile, stainless appliances and granite- huge Master bath and three-way split; heated 36x16' pool-blah-blah-blah...I need 400K to pay off and pay the realtor..I DON'T WANT TO BE STUCK HERE WITH MY HUBBY UP NORTH SO PLEASE CHECK IT OUT on Realtor.com MLS# R2881327. I have a beautiful 4 bedroom 3 bath home with 3400 SF, right near Lion Country Safari (we can hear the lions roar if we're outside in the morning). Also near the M2 Canal. The home has EVERYTHING...stainless appliances, granite, 12 foot ceilings, All wood and tile flooring....LARGE heated pool (36x16')...outbuilding, concrete drive. The roads are private and no one comes back here unless they live here (not a "trhrough" street) yet we have no Home Owner Assoc.-lots of folks are equestrians. I do not have 2.5 Acres, though...just 1.5acres but we need just 400K for the whole thing (husband has been transferred to Ohio). We have purchased property in Ohio (where we're from) and are planning to move back to be near family.
