Wow! Thank you. That is some great information to get us started! Would it be correct to say that the Felida area is more "suburban" and less "rural" than the Camas/Lacamas/fishers landing area? - Tue Jan 15 2008, 15:37
That is helpful. We are coming from the Danville/Alamo area specifically. This area is known for the best schools, and family friendly community with a small town feel. It feels small town, but no conveniences are done without as the city of walnut creek is only one exit down the freeway and SF is simply 40 min. It is one of those communities that because of the schools and other "niceties" it is extremely sought after. It is extremely "suburban". I do realize that duplication isn't possible, but if there was a "sought after" suburban community in Vancouver, where would that be? Felida? Lacamas shores? Fishers Landing? All of the above? I don't really know about the topographical areas or how important they are (water, prairie, mountain, etc) I am more interested in finding a nice "suburban" community with great schools and many family friendly booming activites ( town basball league, High school girls golf, etc.) - Sun Jan 13 2008, 15:29
We are looking for something not so rural, but upscale. We have heard of Lacamas Shores, which sounds very nice, however seems to be a nice pocket in the middle of nowhere. Is there an area that is upscale with homes 3000 sf and up (not including the basement), great schools, and not so rural that our teenagers will never forgive us for moving them from the san francisco bay area? We dont have an interest in 5 or more acres....so less property, however less than 1/4 acre wouldn't be desireable for us either. The suburban life is appealing to us....nice community(upscale), spacious homes, convieniences of shopping, and great schools....is this anywhere in Vancouver Washington that fits this criteria? - Sun Jan 13 2008, 13:12
