Thanks for your quick response Shalu. I sold my house in North Brunswick in Oct 2007 to move to a better school district. I work in Princeton mostly and commute to the NYC once a week. I am looking for a good deal (if there are any). I am renting a house right now until end of Aug 2008 and I am looking to move into a new house before that....may be a month of overlap is fine. I need to be under 750K with roughly 30% down. I am not aware of any benefits of committing to realtor as a buyer's agent. In my mind, perhaps, the only downside is that I get to see only those properties that the realtor "can" show and at the same time the room for bargaining is bit tighter if 2 agents are involved in the transaction instead of one. May be you or others can enlighten me here. - Sun Feb 10 2008, 15:16
