Good Evening to you all:
My husband and I live in Washington state, and my Mr. is getting ready to retire, we have heard from many ppl that North Carolina is a very nice area to retire in. Sooo thats is what we are doing, looking or trying to the areas we might like. We are both City folks and would like to stay close.
We really have no family to worry about so we are free to go anywhere, my son and his family live in NYC so right now we couldn't be any farther away. :(
We are a very laid back couple, that are looking for a safe, nice area, we can go for walks, to the parks and do some well deserved traveling to "NASCAR" Races!! Love following the History of the South, as they have so much compared to us.
Dang ya know it's hard to talk about yourself, so think I'm done for right now.
I do hope there is a place on here to write what we are looking for as for as a home goes.

PS! Could anyone give me some info about Snakes in the Charlotte, NC area, we do not have anything but Garter Snakes on this side of the mountains and some areas not even those.!
