Yes I will stay away from short sales. - Mon Apr 21 2008, 20:54
I accepted the sellers counter by filling out paper work with the new price. The highest bidder could have been a friend of the seller or seller realtor since they submitted the paper work. The bank is already writting a loss, it does not make sense to not get the highest bid from the muliple buyers that placed bids on the home. The bank could have got more money. It maybe legal, but it is border line unethical. - Sun Apr 20 2008, 16:53
The seller countered becaused they wanted a higher amount to give to the bank. Yes all the paper work was submitted and I also approved funding.
What I do not understand is why the bank did not give me the opportunity to go higher. The Seller realtor called my realtor and said the property is sold. It does not seem ethical. - Sun Apr 20 2008, 15:23
The tax rate seems higher in the areas of Temecula and Murrietta. 1.5 to 2.0
San Diego seems to be a whole lot cheaper in property tax unless you find a mello roos track.
After house hunting it seem the most homes in Temecula built 2000 has extreme property tax. - Thu Mar 20 2008, 18:41
