please tell me about the Hubbard Heights neighborhood in Stamford, Ct. Is it safe? Desirable?

I just bought a house in Hubbard Heights (Rachelle Ave) with my fiance. We are a young couple in our 20s that had been looking for a safe and enjoyable neighborhood. Our new neighbors have been very friendly and welcoming. Everyone has gone out of their way to stop by and say hello and introduce themselves. I even had one neighbor help me lift something in my yard (when he saw that I accidentally knocked it over and was struggling with it), and then he invited my fiance and I to a BBQ that he and his wife were hosting later that week! Needless to say, we are very pleased with this neighborhood. - Wed Aug 20 2008, 07:18
