How good a school is depends on who attend the school, do you think people just cross the street are really different? We live in Windemere, and our resident school is Hidden Hills, but my daughter is overflown to Quail Run this year (she will be back to Hidden Hills next year). We like the school, and really thought about if we should transfer her back. I would say schools around Gale Ranch/Windemere are at same level. Why Qual Run's API is lower, I don't know, but API isn't the only thing to measure how school performs. - Tue Jun 3 2008, 17:41

A week ago, I heard one of the plan 2 in Paloma is offered at $780K. I'm not sure if it's still available. - Tue May 6 2008, 14:44

Jo, there is no big difference, inside Windemere, there is no traffic only traffic lights. So from furthest, Albion, you will pass Windemere Expressway, Harcourt Way, Watermill Road, and East Branch Parkway, 4 traffic lights total to be out of Windemere, so it depends on how many stops you run into, on average, I'd say one to two minutes to go through. - Thu Apr 24 2008, 13:55
KyuuKetsuKi, don't you see there is construction going on at Dougherty and 580??? But I agree it takes definitly more than 8 minutes, somewhere around 10-15 min to or from 580. That being said, my wife and I like Windemere area very much.

Jo, as far as I know low $800K for plan 2 or 3 is the going on price, it was a bit higher for phase 1, but should not be much. They started building on the west side, the view there is spectacular and without a back neighbor, price is a little higher also. - Wed Apr 16 2008, 23:19
