I have also called in to 1-800-510-2643 and spoke to a young man that was very nice yet very unprofessional . I went through the entire process with him. He said we were approved and needed a credit card only to secure this transaction. So I have him a credit card number just to see what he would do. Sure enough he tried to process the $199.00 "title search fee" , even though he was only supposed to take it for security. So he came back on and said it had been declined and asked for another CC number. Well at this point he was already caught in a lie plus I never authorized him to charge my CC. The good thing was that I gave him a CC number to a pre-pay CC that I do not use anymore just to see if he woud try to charge it. So I told him I would not be giving him another number and asked why he chraged it to begin with. Of course he could not give me a solid answer. Also early on in the conversation he offered all of what he stated was his contact info. He said my name is Charles no I mean ummmm John, John Davidson Agent ID 0097 and he could be reached at 1-800-455-6887. Well anyways this is really pathetic and sad that American's have lowered the level of disgrace in our country. I hope no one else falls for these SCAM's. - Fri May 16 2008, 22:38
