I think that they really have a solid hold on the majority of the properties in the Bedford market and do a good job of promoting their listings. Remember, the market is competitive. Maybe your realtor is doing a good job, but ultimately it's the buyer who is making the decision. My advice to you is that if you get an offer, take it. It's better to move your house than to fight over a few thousand dollars. It's just a reality -- houses aren't going to sell with an appreciation like they did in 2006. Currently my husband and I placed a bid on a house and if the seller doesn't accept it, we are walking away. There are plenty of other home owners that would be pleased to sell their house to us.
