Dear MJ, I'm a buyer like yourself. I've done extensive reasearch for the last 2 months spaning from Tequesta - Miami Dade. From the response I've read from our wonderful realators, I beleive none of them have answered your questions, because they have not understood your requirement and life style choice. With all due respect to our friendly realators, here is my interpretation of MJ's questions broken down into pieces

Family Neighbourhood with kids activities - A (preferably gated) community with recreational facilities where neighbourhood kids play together in a safe environment. MJ is not asking for acerage lots where kids / neighbours dont see each other.
Two children 5 & 9 - Need a good school district with good rankings
Love to boat and be outdoors - Spend quality time as a family in the waters (lake, river, sea, ocean whatever..) and a place to dock and live close by. MJ, you may need to be more specific on this criteria.

MJ - Any specific reason why you mention Jupiter?

MJ - If you are interested in my research, I'll be glad to assist you with loads of information, however the informtaion is limited to great neighbourhood, great school district and close to the beaches (These 3 criterias will cost you between $250K - $300k).
