Lisa, Home Buyer in Gulfport

How can I find an agent that is savvy/experienced in Gulfport?Many claim this but not all provide. (1st buy)

We used Pat Kesler with Caldwell Banker Diamondhead. We moved in Nov of 06 from OK and she helped us find the perfect house that met all of our needs including those of my special needs child and those of my husbands business, From start to finish she did an amazing job running down leads, checking schools and neighborhoods, taking tons of pictures and even making sure all the details were finalized while we were on the road coming here. She treated us like we were her only clients. She got us a lot of house for an amazing price. I would recommend her hands down! - Fri Jun 27 2008, 13:54

which subdivisions on coast, being considered by gov. for buyout program

I recently spoke with a realtor about this very thing and was told that the supposed buy out program will be impossible to implement here on the coast. Which areas should I avoid in the Pass Christian, Ms. area? ie:flooding

Amy answered:
All of Pass Christian flooded in Katrina with an average of 13 feet. On any given day that it rains there are no real areas that have flooding. If you are buying there are several nice areas in and around town in a variety of price ranges. If you are planning to build there is a minimun height requirement set out by FEMA.

my favorite areas of the Pass are from the beach to Second Street, Timber Ridge, Espy Dr over to Menge Rd and Henderson Point but if you are looking for further inland there are some nice neighborhoods on Kiln Delise Rd and some areas North of I-10

We moved here from OK and we love it we worked with Pat Kessler at Coldwell Banker Diamondhead she found us exactly what we were looking for adn at a great price. You can really get a lot for your money here on the coast right now and the people here are awesome :-) - Thu Dec 6 2007, 19:01
