About Me
I run All-State Housing Solutions based in Davison, MI.

The core area of our business is being able to provide sellers a Full Price Offer as well as showing would-be buyers how they can obtain all the benefits of homeownership without the necessity of a new loan, no down payment and without a credit check.

We do most of our business in Michigan but also work with buyers, sellers, investors and real estate professionals throughout the US.

What is it you are looking for? I am not an agent but work with them every single day and can recommend a few very good ones in the area as can the posters below I am sure.

I would want someone who is flexible and been around a long time. They have seen the ups and downs and understands the current market and the indicators as to were it may be headed. It is all about asking the right questions. Interview a few (or more if needed) agents. Ask some questions and see what they have to say. If they are selling the hype, how much they will do and just make outrageous claims my experience is to pass on them and find a more grounded, realistic agent. They might not sound as exciting as the one who promises the Sun and Moon but they almost always end up outproducing the ones who do. - Mon Oct 15 2007, 15:33

Does a Realtors Sign in the front yard really make a difference.?

Eric West answered:
Excuse me for not being able to find the reference I took this from but I will look for it and see if I can't find it. Basically what the survey of 3 million Realtors by NAR found was the following. It must be that "new" math that makes this add up to 100% but what is 1 percent anyway ;-)

"A survey of 3 million RE agents by the National Association of Licensed RE agents to find out the best thing that works for finding buyers said that 60% of the buyers came off YARD SIGNS. 30% came from the internet (MLS, For Sale by Owner, Craigs List, Zellow, etc.). That only 11% came from printed media (newspapers, fliers. door hangers, car window stuffers, etc.), now don't ask me how 60%, 30% and 11% make a 100%, but I think this survey tells us something. "

I know a lot of agents I work with like to stress the price of the home being of good value by looking at the price per square foot but you obviously need to look at more than just that. Some might not agree with me but if I am looking for a house in a neighborhood that is pretty similar overall a good way to quickly sort for value is to look at the lowest price per square foot but that only works well in new subdivisions that are filled with similar homes. Of course there is a lot more to look at to determine why it is lower than average for the neighborhood.
