Has anybody heard of paying $500 -$900 to get your credit fixed in 1-2 months? Im interested in buying a home

There are only 3 entities that can do credit repair legally (a bank, an attorney, and 5013c non-profit). If an agency is not one of these, it is a scam! I've heard of agencies charging as high as $3000 )depending on what part of the country. The legit agencies work within the Fair Credit Reporting Act of 1970. The 80+ page document give you the power you need to get your credit right. However, I tried myself....but I didn't have the time or energy.
