I currently work at Vanderbilt, and I am a surgical resident. I live on West End Ave and I love it. My wife and little girl love it as it is close to some great parks, all the nightlife, and most importantly for me, Vanderbilt. My condo is currently for sale, but you can see all of the residents who are trying to sell their home at the below website. Mine is $239,900, 2BR, 2BA, 1627sq ft, dog friendly, on West End Ave/Acklen park (we walk our dog in Acklen Park 3x daily). Everyone has to live relatively close (Bellevue as the farthest for most), so it is a good place to start. There are quite a few homes in your price range on this list. Everyone has to live relatively close (Bellvue as the farthest for most), so it is a good place to start. There are quite a few homes in your price range on this list. The drive from most areas is not bad as long as you are not trying to do it between 7AM-8:30AM and 4:30PM-5:30PM, as the roads in the West Nashville areas become congested then.
