Raymond Karim Roberts

Name is raymond roberts and I am a 26 year old National Guardsman whose civilian vocation is running my business Phaistos LLC. I am married to Deborah Roberts and have one child with a second arriving sometime in April 09.

I was rasied in a military household where one parent was career enlisted and the other is currently has an active career as an Officer. Growing up in such a diverse household today still has many benefits as I go through life.

I attended college at the US Coast Guard Academy for two and a half years before leaving to begin the endless pursuit of my business aims. My major was Operations Research (Industrial Engineering) which is a valuable background I utilize daily to design, study, implement, and improve upon systems. I continued my education at University of Wisconsin Parkside in business and math. While I did not start in the venture/investment world, it is certainly where I am staying.

I am co-Owner of Phaistos LLC, a national investment house that I created with some military peers for the sake of building wealth with and on behalf of military soldiers. We currently focus on construction (government, residential, and commercial) and real estate. Our unique setup and background allows us to represent our specific customer in ways that other long established institutions cant (or wont). We leverage efforts through custom tailored systems with a personally governed purpose to keep company overhead low. The focus is long term efficiency. The facet of my company that I am most proud of is the fact its a highly adaptable investment vehicle that doesn't require my presence (I still actively deploying). My investors have been given the peace of mind that they will recieve the same results whether I am present or not.

We currently have offices in Wisconsin and Illinois. WE alson have operators working to stand up our offices in states to include GA, NC, and KY.

I am an offficer in the Army National Guard and my branch is combat arms and the job I do is demanding but I am extremely proud of it. The training that I recieve in the military is reflected in the overall architecture of our business.
