Thank you for the response. I had no idea it would be considered a breach of ethics. You all have given great advice and I really appreciate all of you taking the time to respond! - Mon Aug 18 2008, 06:10
Thank you so much for answering my question. Our realtor has done an open house and is planning on doing another one. From what you all have said, he is doing his job. It sounds like the market right now is making it difficult for everyone. This our first time selling a house so I really appreciate your answers!! I really was not sure what I should be expecting. I do feel better now. If you would like to look at the MLS I would be happy to have your feedback! 3722134 Again, thank you so much.
If you would like to look at the MLS listing and comment we would be happy to have feedback!! - Mon Aug 18 2008, 03:49

Alan,
I guess I should have worded my answer differently. We have a price that we are not willing to budge on. We might lower the price by a few thousand dollars as far as our asking price, but the bottom line is we will not reduce what we are willing to take on the house. We don't have to move. We think this a good time to buy up and would be very happy if our house sold so that we could. If we don't sell, well, we will just wait until the market improves and sell then. - Sun Aug 17 2008, 15:52
I can tell you we have our house on the market right now. We will list at the same price now as we would 10 months from now. The case seems to be the same for many in our neighborhood because I don't see much of a reduction in price. Perhaps it depends on the area you choose. We tried to list at a fair price and based on the money we put into the house in improvements. - Fri Jul 11 2008, 16:04
