Each lot would have to be looked at independently. Tearing down a home can be costly and timely. New builds take enough time as it is in Bloomfield Hills. Especially with permits. Each lot might have certain restrictions which should be discussed and answered by the city prior to tear down. You may not be allowed to build a certain size or type of home on a lot. Most home stagers are independent business owners. I would start by determining the top staging company in your area, and inquire as to whether they have openings. Most require accreditation of some kind, but not all.

There are exceptions to every rule, Michelle, but yes aluminum can most often be painted, and needs to be on the exterior of the home. The largest pitfall to aluminum, as opposed to vinyl or wood, is that aluminum dents easy. A higher maintenance item, but one can change the color of it as opposed to vinyl.
I would stick with the neutral colors myself. Neon yellow is not universally appealing and might be a distraction to buyers. There is a lot of advice on my blog from Marianne Sweet, a local home stager. You might want to read through it.
