I am in Cartersville Ga. and do have several homes that I own that we lease thru Section 8. Most agents do not work with this program so your best opition is probably to call the Section 8 office in Carollton Ga and see if they can help put you in touch with the person that goes out to do the inspection and approval of the properties. This person should be able to give you the name of some landlord/ property owners that have homes under section 8. I know it is very hard to get thru to this office but just keep tring. You may also contact a builder that has homes sitting in the $100,000 range and below and see if he will entertain leaseing a home under this program. We were very apprehensive in the beginning until we talked to the inspector and met the people that we leased and it gave us peace of mind. It is a great program and we don't have to worry about collecting our rent, it is alway there in the mail on the first of each month. I will search and see if I can find a builder in that area. and respond back to you. Good Luck.
